English Language is a horizontal unit intended for second-year Psychology students. It aims to develop basic English language skills that support students’ academic training in this field. The course focuses on enhancing reading comprehension, written expression, listening comprehension, and oral communication through simplified scientific texts related to psychology.
This unit seeks to enable students to understand basic psychological terminology in English and to work with short academic texts such as simplified scientific articles and research summaries. This helps students understand foreign references and identify their main ideas. The course also encourages classroom interaction and participation, and aims to build students’ confidence in using English as a supportive academic language in their psychology studies and future research.

مادة علم النفس المرضي 1 هي وحدة أساسية في برنامج علم النفس للسنة الثانية. تعد هذه المادة حجر الأساس لفهم الاضطرابات النفسية وكيفية تشخيصها. تجمع بين النظرية والتطبيق، حيث تقدم للطلاب فرصة لاستكشاف المفاهيم الرئيسية في هذا المجال، وتهيئ هذه المادة الطلاب للمقررات المتقدمة في علم النفس الإكلينيكي وتضع الأساس لفهم أعمق للصحة النفسية.

سيتم التطرق في هذا المقياس الذي هو تحت عنوان نظريات التعلم التي تعتبر إحدى مساهمات علم النفس التربوي في تفسير ظاهرة التعلم، والتعلم ظاهرة إنسانية ترتبط بكل مراحل النمو الإنساني، ولا تكن قاصرة في مرحلة من المراحل، وان فهم نظرية التعلم تهم كل من أختص في التربية والتعليم، حيث سنتعرف على ماهية التعلم، وكيف كانت تتم العملية التعلمية بالاعتماد على المقاربة التقليدية، لنستعرض بعدها أفكار النظريات بشكل متسلسل ومبسط، من خلال عرض لأهم أفكار النظرية وتجاربها وأهم القوانين التي تفسر التعلم، تطبيقاتها التربوية، وفي الأخير نقد وتقييم للنظرية.
